Company Research

Find out who you are applying to before the interview. Industry, size and culture in one sheet, plus a match score against your profile.

Features

Company Research replaces the evening you'd otherwise spend with fifteen tabs open. Name the employer and you get a fact sheet: industry, size, headquarters, what they make and how they describe their own culture.

It then compares that company against your profile, your industry, your experience, your skills, and gives you a super-match score. One number for a question you can otherwise only answer by feel: how well do you actually fit here?

Where the research is thin, the sheet says so instead of filling the gap with a guess. A field left empty means we couldn't confirm it, which is more useful to you than a confident number that turns out wrong in the interview.

How It Works

You tell us which company you're applying to. The research runs automatically and pulls the facts together into one sheet.

Then it matches that against your profile and hands you a short report: the super-match score, what stands out, and what you'd want to ask about. Enough to walk into the interview knowing who you're talking to.

Who It's For

Got an interview coming up? Then this is for you. Being able to ask one specific question about how the company works is what separates a candidate who read the job ad from one who did the homework. It's also useful when you're choosing between two offers and both look fine on paper.

Career changers get the most out of it. Moving into an industry you don't know yet means you can't judge from experience whether a place is well run, which is exactly when a fact sheet beats a gut feeling.

Why It Matters

CV Scan checks your side of the application. Company Research checks theirs. Interviewers work out within a few minutes whether you looked into the company, and "I read the website" is audible as exactly that. The larger risk is quieter: a good job at a badly matched employer is still a job you'll want to leave, and you carry that decision for years while the interview lasts an hour. Knowing who you're dealing with before you sit down is worth more than the 49 CHF it costs.

The CV scan is already available and free. Start there, and your profile will be ready by the time this tool arrives.
