Application Tracker
Know where every application stands. Status, notes and follow-up reminders for all of them, so nothing waits on you unnoticed.
Features
Every application you send lands here with its status: new, in progress, submitted, waiting on a reply, first interview, second, offer, rejection. One screen tells you where all of them stand, which is the thing a spreadsheet stops doing somewhere around application number eight.
Each one has a log. "Spoke to Ms. Müller on the 12th, she asked about the Meier project." Three weeks later, when the call finally comes, that note is the difference between picking up the thread and improvising.
It also reminds you before a follow-up is due. A timeline shows the history of each application, so you can see how long a company has actually been sitting on your file rather than guessing.
How It Works
You log each application once, then update the status as things move. A reply comes in, you change the status. You want to chase something next week, you set a reminder.
After that the tracker does the remembering. Everything sits in one place, including the applications you'd otherwise have quietly forgotten about.
Who It's For
The tracker earns its place once you're running more than two or three applications at once. Around ten in parallel is normal during a real search, and ten is comfortably past what you can hold in your head alongside a job and a life.
It's also for anyone who wants to know what's actually working. Seeing which applications reach an interview and which die silently tells you something about where to aim next, which is hard to notice one application at a time.
Why It Matters
The Calendar Feed puts your dates where you'll see them. The tracker holds everything around them: status, notes, history. The failure it prevents is a specific and quiet one. A company writes asking a question, you mean to answer properly, the week is busy, and by the time you remember, answering feels awkward enough that you don't. That application is gone, and it never appears in any statistic as a rejection. For 39 CHF, the tracker's job is making sure the applications you lose are ones you actually lost.
