Calendar Feed
Your application dates land in the calendar you already use. Subscribe to the feed once, and interviews and deadlines keep themselves up to date.
Features
The Calendar Feed puts your application dates in the calendar you already check every morning. Interviews with their time and location, closing dates and reply deadlines as all-day entries. You add an application on jobsuchi.ch, and the dates appear where you'll actually see them.
It works with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook and anything else that speaks iCal, so nothing new to learn. Your second interview sits next to the dentist and Friday's meeting, which is the only place a scheduling conflict becomes visible before it happens.
The feed keeps itself current. New application, new dates. A date moves, the entry moves. You subscribe once and never type any of it in by hand.
How It Works
You get a personal iCal link and add it to your calendar once as a subscribed calendar. From then on your calendar fetches the current dates by itself, about once an hour.
The link belongs to you alone and carries only dates, no CV data. If you ever want to switch it off, you regenerate it and the old link stops working immediately.
Who It's For
The feed is for anyone who already lives in their calendar. If your day is whatever Google Calendar or Outlook says it is, application dates belong in there too rather than in a second place you have to remember to open.
It matters most when several applications overlap. Five open applications mean five closing dates plus follow-ups plus whatever interviews land, and that's the point where dates stop fitting in your head. Most missed deadlines aren't forgotten, they're just never written down anywhere you look.
Why It Matters
The Application Tracker is where you manage applications. The feed does one narrow job: it makes sure the dates reach your eyes on the right morning. A missed closing date isn't a setback you can recover from, the job is simply gone, and it costs you nothing to prevent. Job hunting also never happens during a quiet month; it runs alongside the work you already have. For 19 CHF this is the cheapest product we sell, and it protects the one thing in an application you genuinely cannot fix afterwards.
